Kama is a lifelong crafter who learned to love the thrill of the hunt in thrifting while she was a young stay at home mother of 5. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Education. She is beyond excited to combine her love of advocating for others with teaching through hands-on learning by offering Rust Creative Reuse to the Greater Saline County art community. She truly believes that giving new life to discarded things is a sacred work that honors the Creator.
Kim Rhodes is a Jesus follower, wife, mom, Kiki, business-woman, thrift store addict to name a few. Being the youngest of five children, she learned the true meaning of the saying “waste not, want not.” Even Jesus saved the leftovers after feeding the masses. There is no thing wasted in His kingdom, and that resonates with me. She loves the concept of reusing/repurposing “trash!”
Lindsey Barger is a homeschooling mom and art teacher. She has always been a scavenger, repurposing and finding new life for odds and ends. Using her creativity she has revived a lot of junk that might otherwise have found it's way to the landfill.
Daisy Ward has always had a deep love for creating and experiencing art. Full time, Daisy is a licensed cosmetologist and finds great fulfillment in bringing their clients hair visions to life. On the side Daisy creates mixed media pieces of their own and spends time building friendships and connections with the DIY scene/community in central Arkansas.
Jeff Medders comes from a long line of thrifty people. His hobbies are creative problem solving, woodworking, and farm repair. He is credited with the phrase "use what you have" which is why he is always on the scout for useful junk.

Jenna is a wife, a mother of 2, and a lover of all things DIY. She earned her Associates of Arts and Science and is working on her Middle childhood Education degree which she plans to use someday as an Art Teacher. While she enjoys creating art of any kind in her rare moments of free time, she is drawn toward teaching others that you don’t have to be an “artist” to create something beautiful. To her, art is something that forces you to slow down, lets your mind wander to the most creative places, and gives you something you can be proud of.
Mattie Perez is an artist and craftswoman in Louisville, Kentucky. Her muses are Jim Henson, McMonster, and the crafty individuals who raised her and taught her to see trash as treasure, and that everything can be an art project. She believes that using recycled materials in your project makes the finished product even more rewarding!
Ruby was raised in a thrifty family. She was taught that everything has value and that you should do everything with purpose. She has carried into her adult life by starting her own Etsy shop where she creates cute items that make others smile and she is always finding new projects to do for fun, all while being a full-time student and working part-time.
